Caveman Vodka is a new brand that is dedicated to producing high-quality vodka for anyone who practices the paleo lifestyle. I first discovered the benefits of the paleo diet after my brother developed prostate cancer. This shocking and unexpected news reminded my whole family to make the most of our lives. Fortunately, my brother underwent treatment and is now cancer-free, but the ordeal caused him to gain unwanted weight. In the spirit of friendly competition, we set out to see who could lose the highest percentage of body fat in three months.
I tried the paleo diet at the recommendation of a coworker and lost five pounds in just one week. I read "The Paleo Diet for Athletes" by Loren Cordain and Joe Fiel and was soon living the paleo lifestyle full time. Shortly there after, another 25 pounds was dropped, and I gained strength and energy. I felt great!
The Birth of Caveman Vodka
While following the paleo diet, I still enjoyed drinking a cocktail to socialize with friends and family members. Vodka was always my go-to spirit, yet finding vodkas based on Paleo ingredients was often a challenge. Since a number of available vodkas are distilled from grains, this became very frustrating. I made it my mission to create vodka distilled from grapes and made in the USA to bring to our Caveman Community.
